Giovanni Ribisi

I really like actor Giovanni Ribisi. He has a brilliantly dynamic onscreen presence and is very interesting to watch. His style is almost neurotic, frenetic. There's a danger to it, as if he's right on the edge. He's the sort of actor you suspect completely immerses himself in his roles, lives it. Surprisingly, he's also fantastic at portraying comedic parts. I say surprisingly because very few actors can make you laugh and cry. He can. If you haven't seen his work check out Boiler Room, David Lynch's Lost Highway, Cold Mountain, The Dead Girl and his phenomenal turn in The Gift. I have no idea why he isn't a bigger star, he's cute and has way more talent than some of the other actors who've filtered into mainstream success but maybe he likes it that way. He's also starred in Friends and won an award for his guest slot on My Name Is Earl. Next up The Rum Diaries opposite Johnny Depp.

Arnie's up the creek. The movie star and former governor of California has had the media salivating after revelations of fathering a love child with his housekeeper Mildred Baena and further suggestions of a double life. And he married into the Kennedy family. There will be cosequences. Verdict: Roses really smell like poo-oo-oo!

Married footballer Ryan Giggs sparked a media storm ths week when it was revealed he took out an injunction to stop his name being leaked regarding his affair with a reality tv star. His name was leaked via twitter anyway and his identity disclosed by a newspaper and member of parliament. It has a sparked a dialogue about the effectiveness of injunctions and the laws surrounding them. Verdict: Roses really smell like poo-oo-oo!

January Watch:Junk munch

In her recent Allure magazine interview January said "I'll stop at McDonalds and get a strawberry shake and fries and not feel guilty at all because I deserve it." January, I know you don't eat like that all the time and look the way you do. Good to have an appetite and reward youself with treats (however bad they are for you) now and then. The Maverick that is David Lynch. Phenomenal catalogue of work with an innovative eye. Eraserhead will always be one of my favourite movies, utterly bizarre.

Controversial Takashi Miike. His fims are warped, twisted and dark. That's why I love them. Check out Audition and Ichi The Killer for a taster.

I think Jim Jarmusch exists in his own parallel universe. His work is imbued with a strangeness that's affecting and evocative. I loved Ghost Dog:The Way of The Samurai with Forest Whitaker.

XY Chromosome Sundae:Leonard Peters

Leonard Peters is a Samoan American football player and rugby player. He spent some time playing football in Hawaii before having a career in the states. MY GOD he is majestic, this is what kings and warriors look like. He is mind blowingly beautiful and masculine. If this man played rugby in England I'd subject myself to watching it. Edible creature. Wow.

The Michelle Effect

My favourite couple are in London and I'm followng their every move, I just love them. Together they make a phenomenal team and couple, just check out their stats. I think Michelle is an amazing woman. Not only is she beautiful and charismatic but she's also intelligent and warm. The woman studied at Princeton University and Harvard Law School. She is sooo real and I adore that about her. I love that she's being herself and doing things on her terms. That's why she's an inspiration to lots of women around the world. She has this incredible self confidence that tells you she's happy with who she is. She champions causes she's passionate about and has a great sense of style! I love her style, ecclectic and bold she has fun with fashion and you can see her personality reflected in the clothes she wears. She mixes high street with designer attire and sales of anything she wears usually go through the roof. I also really like the fact that she chooses designers from different ethnic backgrounds, she's inclusive and just very savvy. Love her. :-)
