Lisa Price is the founder of Carol's Daughter,a line of beauty products for skin, hair and fragrances. While she was working on the set of The Cosby Show, Lisa made organic beauty products in her bathroom. Her passion led to a mail order and online business before the opening of her first store in Brooklyn in 1999. She has several stores in the US as well as products available in Macy's and Sephora. Lisa also garnered fantastic press coverage and was featured on Oprah and Tyra Bank's show. The expansion of her business was aided by a massive investment of $10 million dollars from a group of investors helmed by Record Executive Steve Stout. Other investors include Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, Jay Z and Mary J Blige. Congrats to Lisa on the success of business, I'm sure it was a long road but she made it happen.
