I love love new independent film maker Barry Jenkins. Medicine For Melancholy is a great film and so well shot. Next up from him, Remigration. Definitely going to be following his career, he has an interesting perspective and an admirable integrity about his work. I'm very excited about the possibilities for him. Also, he's so cute with his usual geeky specs.

Meet badass beauty, writer, producer and director Victoria Mahoney. Here she is hanging out with her muse and star of her movie Zoe Kravitz. She's also the ex girlfriend of gorgeous Djimon Hounsou. Her movie Yelling To The Sky has been making waves. She was selected by Filmaker
Magazine in 2010 for its 25 new faces of independent cinema and by Elle Magazine as one of its faces to watch in its annual women in Hollywood power list. Nice to see a woman of colour in the director's chair getting this buzz. Go Victoria go!

Comedian, writer, director and quirky black dude Richard Ayoade has hit the big time with his new movie Submarine. It is hilarious and refreshing. I predict HUGE things and all around world domination for him.

Yummylicious hot stuff and dude Cary Joji Fukunaga's film Sin Nombre was met with critical acclaim a few years back. The last film he directed was Jane Eyre. Cannot wait see what Cary did next. He's pretty sexy to be honest and very talented.
