Telescopes and Dimensions

If like me you're fascinated by the stars at night, want to take moon gazing to a different level and live in London, visit The Royal Observatory in Greenwich. It has a 28 inch refracting telescope built in 1893 for you to watch the night sky. The centre is an amazing peice of scientific history and there are also fascinating planetarium shows and exhibits to explore. They run observing evenings to use the telescope but you need to book in advance. It's housed in the spectacular onion dome which looks like a giant onion.
